Dave Galison, New York surfer / shaper

Dave Galison, hard core New York surfer, shaper, one-man surfboard factory, has been one of my most loyal fin clients. His boards, all of which he rides, are as much about art as they are about function. To see more of Dave's cool creations go to the "Your Boards" section in my website gallery. Rock on Dave!

Happy Birthday Danny

I did this 8.5 Frye template as a gift for fellow surf industry craftsman Danny Partch.
Cocobolo with Maple pinlines. Danny is shaping an 11'0" glider as it's home.
Happy birthday Danny!

Wooden Bonzers X 3 for John Atwill

John Atwill of Australia just stopped by the shop to pick up these 3 Bonzers.
L to R: 7.5-7.0-6.5. They will be used on Campbell Brothers bonzers that were shaped for him down under.

Cork Ireland Craftsman

Brian Kennedy just sent me pics of his beautiful 10'0", 5-stringer, Balsa that he recently built and shaped. He honored me by using one of my reverse D template glass-ons for it.
It's a rider! Thanks Brian

Peter Stanley's "Cosmic Spear"

This is a 7-2 chambered balsa quad that I finished last year for New York surfer, Peter Stanley.
The bottom has a subtle single-into-double concave. Finished weight: 14lbs
It has a double6/6 glass job by Moonlight Glassing (who else???).
The quad fin set and the inlaid bolt are of lacewood and African Mahogany.
Peter ordered this board to ride. I'll be darned if it didn't have filthy wax smeared all over the deck, obscuring the inlayed bolt I worked so hard on the last time I saw it. You go Peter!
Peter reported that the board is a perfect match for the New York Barrels that showed up last winter. Peter named her "The Cosmic Spear".

Secret Spot Italy

can you say.............4-3?

Francesco Di Tommaso, Bari Italy

My Italian brother Francesco, sliding under a lip. Yes, Italy has waves.

6'-3" agave fish - 9'0" big wave longboard

The 9-0 longboard resides with it's new owner, Francesco Di Tommaso in Bari Italy
The agave fish has the weight of a comparable p.u. foam board, even though it has a sturdy
Moonlight Glassing job of dbl 6oz both sides. She is as yet unridden........looking for a worthy home.
